Our approach to overcoming this problem was to invest in commercial magnum instant machines for every unit at each site. This allowed us to provide a higher quality instant coffee, at a better value for money which could be made much quicker and therefore produce more drinks per hour for the fast-paced environment of an Amazon logistic site; where lots of people want a drink but time is precious. In order to handle the number of sites required by Amazon, we opted to invest in 12 shipping containers and convert them into fully functioning catering units to boost our inventory. This was completed in just a three-week period before the contract began.
For this specific contract, we implemented two employees to exclusively manage the 23 sites for the entire month, moving between all the sites delivering items of stock and resolving any problems as they emerged. This enabled us to provide a practical and direct service for each individual site.
